Woody and Buzz and the rest of the toys had to accept the fact that their owner, Andy, is a big boy now~ Andy was preparing to leave for college.... leaving his toys in their uncertain future.

Being a big boy unable him to play with his toys, he is unable to decide whether to keep his toys in the attic in his house or donate them to a daycare, SunnySide.

Due to "unforeseen circumstances"~ Woody, Buzz and the rest happen to be donated to the daycare SunnySide.
The gang thought SunnySide might be a nice place to stay and get to be play by kids everyday,
But, apparently there is a "Dark Side" of that place~
